1. Using Statsopia
These terms cover the Statsopia Beta/V1 service, operated by Codreanu Daniel PFI, registered in Romania under registration number 35666649, with its registered office at Str. Olteniei no. 28, Sector 1, Bucharest, Romania. By using Statsopia, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organisation, you must have authority to do so.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Statsopia. Statsopia is not intended for children, and accounts are not knowingly provided to them.
2. What the Beta does
Statsopia lets you upload CSV or Excel data, review data quality and descriptive statistics, confirm variable types and ask questions in plain English. Supported analyses produce statistical results, relevant charts and AI explanations. Results can be exported as a PDF report. Excel uploads must contain exactly one visible worksheet.
Beta features and supported methods may change. Unsupported requests may not produce an analysis, and service interruptions or errors can occur.
3. Your account and datasets
Keep your account details accurate and your sign-in credentials private. Contact [email protected] if you suspect someone else is using your account.
You must have the right to upload and process your datasets. Upload only information you are authorised to use. Remove or anonymise names, national identification numbers, addresses, medical identifiers and other unnecessary personal data before uploading, including in free-text fields and questions.
Uploading does not transfer ownership of your dataset to Statsopia. You authorise its processing to provide the analysis you request. Do not use Statsopia to access another person's account or dataset, bypass access or credit controls, disrupt the service or violate others' rights.
4. Review results before relying on them
Statistical engines perform the calculations; AI interprets questions and explains results. Either the selected analysis or its explanation can be unsuitable or incorrect. You are responsible for checking variable coding, data quality, study design, assumptions and the meaning of the findings.
Statistical results and AI explanations do not replace professional, medical, legal or research judgement. Review outputs before publishing them or using them to make decisions.
5. Credits and payments
One completed analysis uses one credit. A credit is reserved when an analysis starts and charged only once the analysis is delivered. If it cannot be delivered, the reserved credit is returned to your balance automatically; a reservation left open by an interruption is released and returned as well. Returning an analysis credit in this way is not a refund of a payment.
Purchased credits do not expire. Credits granted by a voucher may carry an expiry date, which is shown on the voucher and applied when it is redeemed. Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred between accounts.
Where credit purchases are enabled, review the displayed pack and price before buying. Credits are digital content delivered immediately: by completing a purchase you ask for that immediate delivery and accept that the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies once the credits have been added to your balance. This does not affect your right to a remedy if the service is faulty or not as described.
If a payment is reversed, charged back or refunded by the payment provider, the corresponding credits may be removed from your balance. To ask about a payment, contact [email protected].
6. Temporary workspace
Dataset access expires two hours after upload. Refreshing the page ends the current browser workspace continuity. Keep your own source files and export any reports you need. Statsopia's Beta workspace is not a permanent archive and must not be relied on as a backup.
Account deactivation does not erase billing records. The Privacy Policy explains current processing, storage and deletion behaviour.
7. Availability and responsibility
Statsopia is provided during Beta on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It does not promise error-free outputs, uninterrupted availability, or that a given analysis is suitable for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for deciding whether an analysis is suitable for your intended use.
To the extent the law allows, Statsopia is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, revenue or data, or for decisions taken on the basis of a statistical result or an AI explanation. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection rules.
Your account may be suspended or closed if these terms are breached, if the service is used in a way that harms it or other users, or if required by law. Where it is practical to do so, you will be told the reason and given an opportunity to put the matter right. Unused purchased credits will be refunded if an account is closed for any reason other than a breach of these terms. You may stop using Statsopia at any time and ask for your account to be deactivated by contacting [email protected].
8. Law, changes and contact
Governing law: Romanian law. Dispute process: the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
These terms may change as the service develops. Revisions will be identified by the effective date shown at the top of this page, and you will be asked to accept the revised terms the next time you sign in; until you do, the parts of Statsopia that process your data are unavailable to you. Where a change significantly affects your rights or obligations, account holders will also be notified by email before it takes effect. A correction that does not change the meaning of these terms — a wording, spelling or punctuation fix — updates only the “Last updated” date shown alongside it, leaves the effective date unchanged, and is not sent to you for acceptance.
